To keep that labor force strong and skilled, the business community works closely with K-12 and postsecondary education leaders, ensuring that students receive the training they need in fields such as welding and industrial maintenance technology. Henderson Community College and the Northwest Kentucky Training Consortium offer career-focused programs to train new workers and enhance the skills of those already in the labor force. Both also provide customized training to fit the needs of employers.
